Anyone looking to do a charter, this is the guys to call.
I,ve used them about 20 times and every single time we received absolute value for our money spent.
They have two boats in the fleet, both with state of the art Raymarine tech on board.
Fishtales ll is the latest addition and without a doubt the most modern and technologically advanced charter boat in the current SA, if not Africa market.
She provides 6 anglers with ample fishing space, comfort, world class safety as well as the best navigation and fishfinding tech in the market.
We all know that finding fish is never a given, but with the vast knowledge and experience of the team, now backed up by this beast of a boat, will give you the absolute best chance of hooking into that 100kg monster yellow fin tuna ,we all dream about.
What I appreciate most about Justin and his team is their passion for their cleints and their relentless pursuit to hook each and eveyone into a fish. On slow days they will stick it out and search for that fish, regardless of the time and fuel spent.
Weather or not you are a first time fisherman, or experienced off shore angler, this is the guys to use.
Maybe you want to buy your own offshore rig, but lack the experience, well I suggest you start here. Let them take you out and share their knowledge, you will save thousand on fuel and possible disaster to first let them show you the ropes.
Happy and blessed sea hours to everyone
Absolutely fantastic experience for me and my family. Captain Mark and first mate AJ provided a magical day on the comfortable big boat Fishtales ll. We left Haut Bay in the morning loaded with a big coffee thermos, and headed out on smooth water, with no wind. Before we knew it dolphins were playing around the boat, giant round sunfish and the Cape Fur Seals were diving all around us. After some great views of CapeTown, we turned out and headed for Robben Island. AJ got the fishing lines in the water and the lures ready to go, Capt Mark studied the fish finder and we all watched for birds working above schools of fish. Suddenly -“There she blows!!” And a pod of Pilot Whales surfaced . Their blow holes snorting and fluke tails slapping... truly a once in a lifetime experience for my family.
I can’t thank the whole Fishtales crew, enough for the magical day out on the water. I would recommend this outfit to all levels of fishing- for the casual beginner - a day of trolling and light spin casting, all the way up to experienced angler- a full all day off shore ( 40 miles ) pulling in Bluefin Tuna. Captain Mark was going out at the crack of dawn for an all day tuna charter the next day.
I can not recommend this charter boat highly enough - and next year when I’m back here in CapeTown again from the USA, I’ll hire them again. Here’s to a prosperous 2019- Thomas Cox
